This session will capture the moments when your little one enters the world. No private or graphic shots will be taken unless it is specifically requested.
Your physician or birthing facility may reserve the right to restrict photography during labor and delivery, please verify the official policies with your doctor and hospital. Also know that your physician’s policies may differ from the hospital’s policies, and your birthing facility may make the final decision. We will need to discuss this at the time of your booking.
Due to some hospital or birthing center restrictions, you may be limited to the number of “support” people that you will be allowed to have in the room during labor and delivery. Please note that if there are no restrictions about photography during labor and delivery, it may be that the photographer counts as one of your support persons.
If you are scheduled to have delivery via Cesarean procedure, photography will most likely not be allowed during the procedure itself. Again, please verify with your doctor and hospital regarding the policies for photography before and after the procedure.

All births include time, travel, up to 7 hours of delivery day coverage and 50+ edited High Resolution images in black and white and some color.
I typically arrive at the hospital or birthing center when you are between 6-7 cm dilated for first time moms and sometimes sooner for moms who already have children. That will give me plenty of time to capture detail shots of the hospital, hospital room, and the moments leading up to the birth of your baby.
